The holiday season is rapidly approaching — or, really, is already here, according to our coffee cups and department store window decorations and everything else — so here are COPA90’s official holiday gift suggestions for all the football fans in your life.
COPA Football’s heavyweight cotton, retro, ‘Made in Europe’ shirts are the perfect gift for any kit collector, the sharpest dresser in your friend group, or for that guy who really needs to have a better-quality kit than the one they picked up for €10 on the street while on holiday.
Three of our favorite magazines have dropped new issues just in time for the holidays!
MUNDIAL Issue 12 covers Ronaldinho, the Narco Derby, The Grime FC, 90s J.League shirts, and an unbelievable amount of other topics. It’s truly remarkable how much content and “in-jokes” they’re able to fit into one issue. It ships out early December.
Season Zine’s ‘Money’ issue discusses all the way $£€ intersects with the game, from a chat with cover star, model, and athlete Ocean Lewis to WAGs and the gender pay gap. Neymar’s record-breaking transfer this summer was only just the start of it.
And finally, Eight by Eight’s as-always beautifully designed winter issue says goodbye to Italy’s Gigi Buffon in an inclusive interview and photo series, in addition to plenty more.
They’re all well worth a subscription, let alone getting these individual issues.
Another option for the fashion-forward football fan is TENS CLUB, a brand that combines kits with streetwear for a new unique piece each month. Although we don’t know what this month’s will be just yet, we do know it’s inspired by “Germany’s most handsome legend”: Franz Beckenbauer.

Past looks have included:
The MAESTRO pants from Live Breathe Futbol were fantastic to begin with, but a few weeks ago they released a new and improved pair. They’re lightweight but will still keep you warm, stretchy and moveable, water-resistant and have zippers on the elastic cuffs in case Monday you want the tight ankle fit and Tuesday you don’t — perfect for the friend who always texts you back late because “sorry mate, I was out at training” and can never hang out because they’ve got a match that day. Stylish enough to wear out to the bar for post-match drinks, too.
To keep you warm through the winter comes a new scarf from Nivelcrack, inspired by Korean club Ilhwa Chunma’s 1995 home kit.
They won 3 consecutive league titles from 1993 to 1995, and in 1995 won the Asian Club championship title as well. The K-League MVP of that season, Tae-yong Shin, is the current coach of the Korean national team; the retro pattern on the scarf pays homage to Korea’s qualification for Russia 2018.
Umbro and Guerrilla FC have teamed up to bring us a beautiful home kit, perfect for quite literally anybody. Buy it for your whole squad so the opposition will be intimidated off the bat by how good you all look. Get into their heads good and early. (But then maybe take it off; wouldn’t want to dirty the clean, clean white.)
