Before this gameweek’s transfer window for Premier League Fantasy Football, we’re recommending three players for you to consider putting in your squad for this weekend. Do you have extra money in the bank, or is your star player not performing? Then get one of these guys in!
Alexis Sanchez – £11 million
Arsenal’s star man of last season has yet to really get going this season. Saying that, he scored for Chile during the international break, and Saturday’s opponents Stoke City rarely fair well at the Emirates. On top of this, Sanchez’s price has not gone up yet, and he scored against Stoke at home last year. Also, he’s a midfielder but scores like a striker, so there’s plenty of potential points to be had in the coming week. Now would be a great time to free up some funds and buy Sanchez.
Arouna Koné – £5.1 million
Everton have so far had a stop-start season. They have shown signs of brilliance however, and a home fixture against a Chelsea side seriously lacking in confidence and form could be the perfect way to kick start their season. Koné’s form has gone somewhat under the radar thanks to some stellar performances from Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku. Unlike his two teammates though, Koné only costs £5.1 million. With Chelsea trying to steady the ship, they will be focusing all their attention of Barkley and Lukaku, which could give Koné the time and space to punish them.
Nathan Redmond – £5.6 million
Nathan Redmond is the only midfielder outside of the top 4 to feature in the Fantasy League dream team. His performances so far this season have seen his value increase by £0.6 million already, so it’s better to get him in now before it goes up again. Norwich are playing Bournemouth this weekend, and while Bournemouth have exceeded all expectations so far this season, Norwich have the home advantage and if anyone is to make use of this, it’s their star man Nathan Redmond. Goalscoring midfielder for £5.6 million? Yes please.
