The 13th of June 2015 is a day that will go down in Austrian football history, as ASV Unterwaltersdorf destroyed an abysmal SC Mödling side 42-2.
ASV Unterwaltersdorf were fighting for the 2.Klasse Ost-Mitte league title, the 8th tier of Austrian football. Despite the dominant victory over Mödling, ASV failed to win the title on goal diffference, finishing 9 goals behind SK Breitenfurt.
SC Mödling on the other hand, struggled to put together a side for the game, as they had to field the manager in order to just get 11 players. The season in general was one to forget for Mödling as they only managed to get two points over the course of 26 games and finished with a goal difference of -213.. An Austrian record across all 12 tiers of football.
