Ahead of the start of Bundesliga kicking off today, here are the 5 best Bundesliga kits you'll be seeing this season.
The Bundesliga giants have had plenty of recent success, but their new home kit throws it back to the success of old: their 1974 European Cup-winning season, and the iconic shirt with its thin white stripes that went along with it.
HSV’s new away kits are as unique as they are beautiful, dual shades of blue forming a sliced-up diamond pattern across the front while the sleeves stay solid.
Köln’s away kit for this year is all red, the club’s traditional color, with uneven and darker red horizontal stripes cut around the sponsor. But the most interesting detail is an even darker red image of the Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral), the same seen in the background of the club’s crest, on the bottom left.
Everyone from PSG to Manchester United have been trying their hand at an all-black kit, but Mainz has put a quite interesting spin on it. It’s a bit more grey than black, with a graphic that looks like the front of the kit has been shattered.
A purple camo kit? Yes please.
