Aberdeen defender Graeme Shinnie scored a shocker of an own goal against Maribor to confirm the clubs exit of the Europa League.
The Scottish Premiership side were drawing 1-1 on aggregate after their first leg at home when defender Shinnie passed the ball back to his keeper and watched it mis-controlled straight in to the back of the net.

Although they were already looking like going out on away goals the own goal added salt to the wound and ensured Aberdeen’s exit from the Europa League.
