There are a number of football fan brands emerging around the world. However, few are as committed to their values as UK based brand Urban Gent Kult Club, U.G K.C.
Established by football activist Greg Kelly and independent artist Marcus Marritt, their mission is to create a clothing label that challenges the major brands that dominate the world’s game through a business structure that is designed to give back to society and make a difference in the lives of young football fans who have been socially excluded. In their search for a local partner, they came across Football Beyond Borders, which whom they have decided to share 50% of the profits for all clothing sold. All of their clothing is produced in a fair and ethical manner, adhering to the strictest fair trade standards.
Like Copa90, U.G K.C shares in the belief that football is at its best when it protects the interests of its fans. They provide a 10% discount to members of supporters trusts for all their clothing, as well as an additional 10% donation to the trust for all clothing bought. Beyond being members of the Copa Collective, the Kult Club has given us some exclusive gear that we will be giving out to members of the Copafam.
