Galatasaray secured their 20th Turkish league title this year and celebrated it in style yesterday. They decided to avoid celebrating their title with an open-top bus parade, the preferred method by clubs in England and Europe, and instead chose to fill out their Telekom Arena stadium for a crazy show of music, lights and pyros. It was certainly different to what fans are used to, and it made for spectacular viewing. Wesley Sneijder in particular seemed to enjoy the whole occasion, and definitely made the most of his time in the spotlight. Feast on this…
It wasn’t just the club who celebrated wildly though. Galatasaray fans took to the streets after the title win for their own celebrations, and lit up the streets of Istanbul!
