After New Year Olympique Lyon moved to their new stadium located in a suburb of Lyon, about 20 minutes drive from the old stadium “Stade de Gerland”.

This new stadium, named Parc Olympique Lyonnais, has a capacity of 59,186 spectators, and it will be one of twelve stadiums in Euro 2016.

This stadium is located in “nowhere”, it’s actually bit out of town and not surrounded by great pubs and small streets in the city center. But despite that the stadium seem to be nice. It got this modern look, but inside each stand got big sectors, one floor and very close to the pitch. Hopefully fans of Lyon will be able to create good atmosphere in their new home.

Also at this stadium fans of Lyon stand behind both goals, just like they used to in their old stadium.
