Another Friday, another round of sick new kits. Let's see what's on tap this week.

DEPORTIVO TOLUCA

Sometimes little things go a long way. That’s certainly the case with Toluca’s 100th anniversary jersey, which takes its already-great, beautiful red and collared 2016/17 home kit and makes it just a little bit better with a few minor tweaks.

First, the Under Armor logo is swapped from white to gold, matching the gold of the special “1917-2017” 100th anniversary logo, which was put where the club logo normally goes (and the club logo was moved to the middle of the chest). Second, a new badge under the back collar celebrates nine of the club’s values, including “success,” “effort,” and “respect.” And finally, the special kit drops the “Banamex” sponsor that was sat under the chest stripes, leaving that design and the club crest the front-and-center focus. It’s always nice to see a sponsorless Liga MX kit, as they’re usually covered in ‘em!

CAGLIARI

Cagliari is also celebrating an anniversary of sorts this year: that of their first and only Serie A title win, in 1970. They’re releasing a special jersey in order to commemorate that momentous occasion…in that they’re basically re-releasing the 1970 original.

Although the team doesn’t play this year on April 12, the day the title was won 47 years ago — they’ll have to settle for debuting the jersey on April 9, versus Torino — they will at least release the jersey for sale on that day. Get it quick, though, because it’s limited edition.

FIGUEIRENSE

This Brasileiro Série A club has a beautiful new away kit for the 2017 season. There’s not much to say; it’s white with thin black stripes, much like those in the club’s crest. It almost even looks like the Adidas stripes on the shoulders are part of the design rather than a branded aspect. Overall, just a very clean look.

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION

The Revs’ new away shirt for the 2017 season is a sweet half-and-half design that’s a take on the club crest — and, essentially, it’s like if the stripes through the front of their home kit got their own kit. On the authentic version alone, the kit is topped off by an American flag above the lower left hem as well as the club’s founding year stitched onto the right sleeve cuff.

ATLÉTICO NACIONAL

New England aren’t alone in their use of this design this year; Atlético Nacional have done the same, and it’s just as great for their home shirt. It’s a spin on the club’s traditional green and white stripes. It’s topped off with solid dark-green sleeves and lighter green stripes that wrap around the back collar and down the sides.

And, oh look, another birthday! The “70” in parenthesis above the crest marks the club’s 70th anniversary.
