I’m a final year Political Science major at the University of Ghana and I’ve spent the last few years trying to steal time off my school schedule to pursue my passion: watching, writing, and talking football. I love to go to games, to grassroots pitches, to pubs and everywhere else that has the raw passion and intensity of organic football fever. I consider myself very lucky and privileged to have had the opportunity to write about my country’s football not only locally, but for some international websites as well. Football is life here in Ghana and I’m living it to the fullest. I applied for Copa90’s in search of because the brand highlights the beauty and immense significance of the phenomenon that makes football what it is: The fans.

What is your favourite Copa90 video and why?

My favorite Copa90 video is: “Meeting Tim Vickery: BBC’s Mr Brazil – Best Job in The World” – an episode shot in Rio, Brazil during the Confed Cup in 2013. I totally loved the interaction as much as the scenery, and the discussion oozed passion as well as fresh, informed perspectives. It was the first Copa 90 video I ever watched and it certainly drew me in and made me become a fan of the show.

What is the best football game you have seen and why?

Liverpool – Milan: Istanbul 2005. Hands down. What. A. Game! I’d never shed that many tears because of football. It had everything.

What is your favourite football snack?

Strawberry yoghurt and meat pies.

Who is your footballing idol?

Pele
