My name is Joe Coquet and I’m 18 years old, from Brighton, England. Football took over my life with the 2006 World Cup in Germany and since then I don’t think a day has gone by where I haven’t watched, played or read about the beautiful game. My love for football was affirmed when I saw THAT Barcelona team in 2009 through to 2012 and later when I heard the stories of people like Socrates, people who used football to change things for the better.

These days I’m becoming more interested in the creative side of football, through artwork, photography and design, however nothing will ever exceed my love for the game on the pitch and I will never pass up the opportunity to watch a match, whether be it on TV or up close and personal. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What is your favourite Copa90 video and why?

My favourite Copa90 video is the Milan Derby video. I love the history of the two clubs, the passion and solidarity between the two sets of fans as well as Eli’s presenting!

What is the best football game you have seen and why?

The best football game I’ve watched was when Liverpool beat Manchester City 3-2 in 2014. We really thought we were going to win the league. The high and emotion after that game was unforgettable.

What is your favourite football snack?

My favourite football snack is probably salted popcorn.

Who is your footballing idol?

Steven Gerrard is my all time footballing idol. At Liverpool he was a fan on the pitch representing us with every kick. ‘The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
