Julieta is a young Argentinian infatuated by football. Growing up in Buenos Aires, she naturally supports River Plate and you can find her at their stadium the Sivori Alta every Sunday. Follow Julieta for an insight into South American football through the eyes of a young female.

My name is Julieta, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Argentina. Most of the stories in my life have a bit of football in them and the craziest things I have done are because of football. Like travelling 6 days back and forth just to watch a match of my national team in Rio de Janeiro for the World Cup. Or walking 100 miles to a church just because Argentina made it to semi finals. It’s hard to make an appointment with me but if you wanna find me I’ll be every Sunday in Sivori Alta the holy ground of River Plate the biggest team in South America.

What is your favourite Copa90 video and why?

My favourite  copa90 video  is ‘Why I Love Liverpool ‘ because it’s my favourite team and I feel the same as David Vujanic.

What is the best football game you have seen and why?

The best football game I’ve been to was during the World Cup because I had all of my family with me.

What is your favourite football snack?

My favourite football snack is the full hamburger I have on Sundays.

Who is your footballing idol?

My football idol is Matias Almeyda a man who was raised in river plate. And when the team was relegated he became the manager and took the team back to first division.
