Before this gameweek’s transfer window for Premier League Fantasy Football closes, we’re recommending three players for you to consider putting in your squad for this weekend. Do you have extra money in the bank, or is your star player not performing? Then get one of these guys in!
Leighton Baines - £6.1 million
Baines has not appeared much this year, but last week he managed to notch his first start of the season after a lengthy spell out due to injury. He has been out for so long that he is now worth just over £6 million, which is a steal for someone who is a guarantee for regular points when playing. He gets up the pitch, takes freekicks, penalties, and is key to how Everton attack. Everton have three home games in the next four weeks too, so get him in!
Georginio Wijnaldum - £7 million
Newcastle have made somewhat of a revival over the last two weeks, beating both Liverpool and Tottenham. This has been largely down to the performances of Wijnaldum, Mitrovic and Sissoko, and at just £7 million, it is a low cost risk to put Wijnaldum in. Newcastle are on form, they have bottom-of-the-league Aston Villa at home this weekend, and everything they do in attack goes through him and Sissoko.
Marouane Fellaini - £6.2 million
Man United have been struggling of late. They are lacking creativity up front, but they are still very hard to break down. Fellaini has played well since his return to the starting lineup, and scored against Bournemouth last week in an impressive performance. Facing Norwich at home this weekend, expect Fellaini to be at the heart of the United attack.
