What’o sweethearts - it’s Retro Roundup time!
This time out we’ll be heading back to the swinging sixties with this 1963 Chelsea shirt.
Chelsea originally adopted the greenish Eton Blue due to Earl Cadogan, Chelsea’s first president, who was already using these colours in his horse racing exploits.
Royal blue was then adopted at the start of the 1907-08 season, which led us to this absolute beauty.
It’s a simple number, but as 60’s Chelsea winger turned artist Leonardo Da Vinci once said - “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”.
