Goal Click LDN - a Goal Click and adidas collaboration

Wherever there is passion, there are stories to be found and shared. Football fans are nothing if not passionate. To these fans, football is so much more than just a game; it inspires and unites individuals of all backgrounds. These fans each have stories to tell, from stories of wild derby games to the fond memories of playground kickabouts. Goal Click (instagram @goalclick), a new global football photography project, aims to capture and share some of these stories with the world. They find one person from every country and send them a disposable camera. The photographs that the photographers then take symbolise what football means to them on a personal and national level.

Over the Euros, Goal Click and adidas are partnering to host their first exhibition, which celebrates the Goal Click football community and creators as a whole. The exhibition will feature some of adidas’ current and historic products, Goal Click photos from countries all around the world, alongside images from Goal Click LDN; a new project featuring London based photographers on a mission to capture portraits of their football lives in London.

Goal Click were kind enough to ask Copa90’s own Axelle Courlander and David Vujanic to take part in Goal Click LDN and contribute to the exhibition. Axelle’s photography focuses on her love of women’s football, herself playing for Leyton Orient’s Women’s and being a diehard Chelsea Ladies fan. Whilst David's contributions include photos previously taken photos in Serbia as part of the Goal Click/Copa90 collaboration and photos taken for Goal Click LDN.These give an insight into what football means to him, both as a football fan in London and as a Copa90 presenter.

If you're a fan of the stories football creates and would like to see the beautiful game seen through an analogue lens, the exhibition will be held at BL_BK (27 Curtain Rd, London, EC2A 3LT). Entrance is free of charge and open to the public from the 10th June until the 10th July.
