In the eighties, some Spanish football clubs succumbed to the power of radical and ultra groups. Most of those groups were politized; the relation among them, that sometimes turned into hate, explains some of the incidents starred by the violent members. In this map you can find the historical groups of Spanish football and their dominant ideology -not shared by all of their members-, and also some of the new groups that are relevant today in Spanish Primera and Segunda División. Some are growing and some are struggling to not fade away, despite the efforts of the clubs to make them disappear -the same clubs that, not so long ago, used them as 'strike forces'.
