Man United to Win the League & Klopp to save Liverpool?
In this week's Comments Below, Poet and Vuj react to the Premier League action this weekend, including City being overtaken by United at the top of the table after they were humiliated by Spurs, Arsenal's 5-2 thrashing of Leicester, and Liverpool and Chelsea continuing to struggle for form in the league. But can United really go on to win the league? Is Jurgen Klopp really the manager to come in and save Liverpool? It's fair to say that Man United have not played brilliantly well so far this season. Though this could be viewed as a worrying sign for them given that we are almost two months into the season, it is encouraging that they find themselves at the top of the table without really getting into top gear. What's more, this weekend's result could well be the turning point in terms of fluency on the pitch, with Mata once again flourishing behind a more mobile attack and Rooney finally getting off the mark after a frustrating few weeks. If they can maintain their consistency at the back - they have only conceded 5 goals this season - and keep improving the understanding between Martial, Depay and Rooney, there is no reason why United can't stay at the summit of the Premier League come January.
