A brand new, unique and career defining global internship by COPA90 & EA SPORTS FC. Creating connections and pathways into the women's football industry for ambitious off-pitch talent.
Following the success of the ongoing Beat the Bias internship programme, COPA90 and EA SPORTS FC have teamed up with league organisations around the world to offer a brand new 8-week internship, centred around women's football - hosted in the US, UK, France, Spain, and Germany. The aim is to empower off-the-pitch talent and provide pathways into the global women's football industry. Each of you will be directly placed with these global partners, helping you gain invaluable experience through exposure to different individuals and areas of the respective league organisations. During the internship, you'll work on a dedicated creative project which will culminate in a trip to London at the end of the internship alongside the other interns on the programme - showcasing your final project on the COPA90 Goals Talk show.
It's opening the door, giving more opportunities to women in those male-dominated spaces, and normalising it across society... It's about changing the thought process of the next generation, so there is no prejudice towards any women across any industry.
When I started playing, I did not have any feminine role model... Now we see thousands of girls choosing football, we read about our game in the newspapers and magazines, we watch so many games on TV, we see sold-out stadiums. The progression is huge and it can only go further!

For me, the most exciting part of the growth of the women's game is when I think about the next generation, for girls after me who will dare to dream. The girls after me who will see their idols in shop windows, on adverts, watch them play week in and week out. We all have a shared responsibility to leave the game better than how we found it.
